The Fragrance of dandelions

This project was born from the artist’s deep desire to break away from the production rhythm imposed by academic structures during a summer session, and to reclaim a slower, more attentive temporality, even within an institutional context. By choosing analog photography, she resists the immediacy of digital tools and embraces a patient practice, where each image becomes the result of a deliberate gesture.
Created in the forest during a camping retreat, the process unfolds in an environment intentionally stripped of artificial stimuli. Through a wide-angle lens, she documents what is small, discreet, often relegated to the edges of perception, embracing these details as fragments of presence.
By crafting an artist’s book from start to finish, from developing the film to printing the images, binding the pages, and designing a hard cover, the artist explores slowness as a creative stance, the forest as a space of resonance, and the image as a trace of time lived through the body and through attention.
