Are you stressed? Reduce Cortisol Naturally With This Yoga Practice
2026
Video, 6 min 31
This work offers an exploration of the body in action and raw narration, materialized through a DIY duo yoga session with a friend at a distance, as if teleported to the banks of the Saint Lawrence River. Conceived as a practice of affective survival in the face of contemporary crises, the video weaves an intimate connection between self, other, and territory: neither body moves in isolation, but in resonance with the current, the grass, and the wind of a constantly shifting background. This spontaneous dialogue between precarious yoga poses and spoken words goes beyond simple technical transmission to become an act of embodied presence, where one learns to inhabit the place as much as the moment. Far from being a simple backdrop, the river becomes an active partner, inviting bodies to attune their breath to the temporality of the environment, transforming the practice into an immersive experience where care of the self, care of the other, and care of the world become poetically intertwined.
