Originally from Quebec City, I am an artist holding a dual Bachelor’s degree in Visual and Media Arts and Art Education from Université Laval, where I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Visual Arts. To date, I have exhibited in France and primarily within my region, while developing a practice that brings together research-creation and knowledge sharing.
My artistic practice is inseparable from the way I live: it takes everyday life as a site of experimentation and environmental engagement, revealing the interconnectedness of all things. It emerges from the places I move through, from the relationships formed there, and from the micro-landscapes composed of bodies, plants, animals, and the traces we leave behind.
I am interested in what remains: residues, combinations of colors and forms, abandoned objects, acts of mending and repair. By collecting, arranging, and reactivating these elements, I work with what is already present, paying particular attention to ordinary life and the often-overlooked value it contains. For me, this shift in perspective carries an ethical dimension, grounded in practical ways of working with what exists rather than replacing it.
My projects often take the form of shared spaces, where simple gestures become points of connection with others and with the land. These situations create moments of collective attention, making it possible to slow down, become aware of our surroundings, and rediscover a sense of wonder. To inhabit a place, for me, is to accept being transformed by it and to respond to that transformation through a caring correspondence with everything that composes it.
Through installations, photographs, videos, sound environments, and artist books, I create forms that extend these experiences. I explore relationships of care and friendship between humans and plants, starting from what is already at hand in order to imagine other ways of living together.
